Dalton and Sydney Tie the Knot at the Farmstead, Mount Pleasant NC

If you know Dalton and Sydney, you love them.... and this was more than obvious on their wedding day!  They are incredibly kind, joyful and warm-hearted and I have enjoyed getting to know them so much this past year!  (Their engagement pictures we did last Spring were published in Carolina Bride, and you can see those here).  Their wedding at the Farmstead in Mount Pleasant was everything they dreamed it would be.... using "rustic elegance" as their guide, they chose a beautiful mauve and navy color palette.  Colleen with Poppies Floral Design did a perfect job with the flowers!  A few of the girls wore flower crowns, and the venue was decorated beautifully to tie everything together.  

One of my favorite parts of this wedding was the packed dance floor!  This is why a great DJ is so important, because it allows for plenty of options for awesome photos;  Carolina DJ Professionals did a great job at keeping the party going!  

Oh... and brides... this wedding is a perfect example of why you shouldn't stress over the weather!  I think every day for the entire 15 day forecast it showed at least a 90% chance of rain for this day.  The entire day however, we had the perfect amount of clouds, and as a storm was rolling in slowly as we were doing newlywed photos, we had the coolest clouds to work with!  The rain didn't start to fall until literally minutes before they were announced into their reception.
